I felt extremely sad because I had at that time become really crazy about gyroplanes. Sadly not long after that Erland Brooks was killed flying the machine that he had built. I was a schoolboy at the time a story of the indestructible gyroplane called Brookland Mosquito appeared in Malaysian newspapers around 1962.
